Who we are
MIDAS Industries sp. z o.o. is a Polish industrial piping and welding subcontractor. We are based in Warsaw. Our crews are Polish. Our work is European.
We operate as a welding subcontractor to Nordic and Baltic main contractors — delivering certified crews to industrial sites across Sweden, Finland, France, Denmark, Estonia, and Germany. Our projects run at oil refineries, chemical plants, paper mills, steel production facilities, and power plants.
Founded 2024 · operating as a team since 2022
MIDAS Industries sp. z o.o. was formally incorporated in Poland in 2024. The operating team has been delivering industrial welding campaigns together since 2022 under partnership structures with our main contractor partners — WP Welding AB, CJ Consulting AB and AK Service UAB.
The 15 projects referenced across this site were executed by that same team, on those main contractor contracts, from 2022 onwards. Incorporating MIDAS as a Polish sp. z o.o. in 2024 consolidated the operation under a single legal entity with direct VAT, KRS and CRBR registration — which simplifies contracting for main contractors who now work with us under Framework Service Agreements instead of through layered partnership chains. The welders, the welding coordinator, the QA/QC workflow — all continuous. The legal wrapper is new; the capability is not.
How we work — sub-to-main by design
Our operating model is sub-to-main-contractor, and that is a feature, not a limitation. We don't carry prime project management. We don't bid for EPC scope. We are welding discipline — qualified crews, documented WPS, coordinated handover — plugged directly into your site organization.
Every project on this site runs [VIA main contractor] by choice. That means:
- No parallel management overhead. Your existing project hierarchy stays intact. Our welding supervisor attends your turnaround meetings; we do not add a second PM layer.
- Your documentation format, not ours. Weld maps, NDT reports, PWHT charts, material traceability — delivered in whatever system the main contractor uses (ProjectWise, Aconex, client PDM).
- Your compliance perimeter, extended. We sign onto the main contractor's HSE and quality framework, attend the same inductions (ID06, VCA, Työturva, BTP), operate under the same permit-to-work system.
- Single point of accountability — on welding. No split between piping and structural subs. No interface disputes at boundary joints. One welding coordinator, one certification chain, one handover package.

What we don't claim
We don't claim to be the largest Polish welding subcontractor. We don't have a century of heritage. We are the welding discipline you integrate, not a general contractor you manage around.
What we have: full European certification stack, 15 projects delivered across 7 jurisdictions in under 24 months, three main contractor partners who deploy us repeatedly, and a posted-worker framework (A1, ISA, LIE, Meldepflicht, Limosa, SIPSI, RUT, TÖÖ) that the main contractor never has to touch.
