[01 — PROCESS]

From CV to first day
on site.

Five steps. We treat documentation, qualification, and posting compliance as our work, not yours — your job is to weld well, ours is to make sure you are credentialed, paid, and insured wherever the project is.

  1. 01

    CV + qualification documents

Send your CV, EN ISO 9606 / EN 287 welder qualification cards, A1 / S1 status (if posted), passport scan, and any site-safety cards held (ID06, työturvallisuus, VCA, Carte BTP).

    [EMAIL] [hr@midas-industries.eu]
  2. 02

    Document and qualification check

We verify card validity (qualification scope, materials, positions, expiry) and identify any gaps relative to the projects you would be mobilized to.

    [SLA] [3 BUSINESS DAYS]
  3. 03

    Practical EN ISO 9606 test

Practical weld test on the process and material relevant to upcoming mobilizations (e.g. 141 TIG on P-group 1 or 8). Tests run at our partner shop in Warsaw or at a customer test bench when relevant.

    [ISO 9606-1]
  4. 04

    Shop trial period

Short prefab shop assignment to confirm productivity, quality discipline, and HSE adherence before posting. Paid at standard shop rate.

    [DURATION] [5–10 DAYS]
  5. 05

    Mobilization

A1 / S1 issued, country posting filings completed (ID06 / SOKA-BAU / Limosa as applicable), travel and accommodation arranged. You arrive on site with documents already in place.

[03 — FAQ]

  • Q01 What welder qualifications do I need?

Valid EN ISO 9606-1 (or equivalent EN 287-1) for at least one process / material / position relevant to the upcoming project. We work primarily in 141 (TIG), 111 (SMAW), 135 (MAG), 136 (FCAW), 121 (SAW). Certifications must be in date with original test certificate available.

  • Q02 Do I need to speak English / Swedish / German?

English at workshop level for safety inductions and toolbox talks is required for posted work. Swedish, German, French — useful for site supervisor roles, not required for welders.

  • Q03 How does A1 work? Do I lose ZUS / NFZ?

A1 PD is issued by ZUS for the duration of each posting. Your Polish social insurance and NFZ health coverage continue to accrue normally — A1 is documentation that confirms this to the host country, not a transfer of insurance.

  • Q04 How long are typical postings?

Most projects run 4–12 weeks of on-site time, with rotation cycles arranged around the project schedule. Some turnaround campaigns are 2–3 weeks intensive; some prefab campaigns extend to several months.

  • Q05 How is pay calculated?

Hourly rate at the applicable host-country CBA minimum or above, depending on qualification scope and experience. Per diem (allowance for daily expenses on site) is paid on top, separately from the hourly rate.

  • Q06 What if my certification is close to expiry?

Tell us during step 1. We can arrange re-qualification testing at our partner shop ahead of mobilization, paid by us if you commit to a project.

  • Q07 Do you take fitters / NDT inspectors / scaffolders / supervisors?

Yes — pipe fitters with B31.3 experience, EN ISO 9712 NDT inspectors (PT / MT / RT / UT levels), scaffolders, and welding supervisors. Same process applies.
