Context
WP Welding AB is a Swedish welding main contractor active across Sweden’s process industries. MIDAS has provided certified welders and piping teams to WP Welding on a rolling basis since 2022 — embedding into their crew structure on multiple simultaneous sites rather than delivering one-off campaigns.
This is the reason WP Welding features both as an active partner in our contractor list and as a project-level engagement in its own right: the volume and variety of work routed through WP Welding is material to our Swedish footprint.
Scope
Across the collaboration, MIDAS crews have performed:
- Industrial welding (TIG, MIG, SMAW) for process piping and structural elements
- Pipeline installation on operating facilities
- Pipe spool prefabrication
- Heat exchanger restoration welding
Under main-contractor arrangements we do not publish site-level details for this scope. The partnership operates under a rolling framework with individual call-offs per site.
Standards
All welding work delivered under our ISO 3834-2 framework. Individual welders qualified per EN ISO 9606-1 to the procedures required on each site.
